My name is Martha Jane Brounoff and I have been a fan of TXCN even since it started in January of 1999. Until September of this year, I lived in Irving, TX. At that time, I moved with my husband, our son, David, and our two dogs to Manlius, NY, because my attorney husband had an opportunity to fulfill his life-long dream of being a judge. In the spring of 2004, he was appointed an Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Administration and assigned to the SSA Office of Hearings & Appeals in Syracuse, NY. Moving away from my beloved Texas and my husband's entire family and all our friends and business colleagues was not easy, to say the least. Fortunately, for me, I can run my marketing communications & media relations consulting business from just about anywhere and I am now servicing my clients from my home office in Central New York. On Tuesday evenings as I'm wrapping up my workday, I like to check out your "Behind the Scenes at TXCN" column because it helps me keep up-to-date on what's going on in my old home state -- and at my favorite TV station.
You can imagine my shocked surprise when I read this week's edition!!!

I am so sorry. I must have read your December 7th column a half a dozen times last night before the reality finally set in.
I decided that the best thing I could do for all the TXCN employees who will be laid off their jobs is to pray for them.

From my perspective . . .
The TXCN news team -- and the sports anchors -- are all solid pros. Pure class. I am sure that all of you will land on your feet.
In the meantime . . .
Please know that I am praying very, very hard for the whole TXCN team.
